Support Worker

About the role

Our East Dunbartonshire Reach Out programme provides a high-quality support service to people that are homeless, at risk of becoming homeless or those who require support with maintaining a tenancy.

Joining our team at EDRO you will support people in the local community assisting with housing benefit forms when required, ensuring that maintenance within properties is managed appropriately and ensure that the people we support are aware of the service provision.

We need you to be qualified to SVQ Level 3 H&SC or SCQF equivalent or be willing to work towards this. We also need you to have gained experience of working in a similar role and to have an awareness of legislation and policies relating to housing and social care.
