MSPs Pledge To Support Right There at Parliament Exhibition

Right There recently hosted a powerful exhibition table at the Scottish Parliament. Over three days, the charity’s team engaged with Members of the Scottish Parliament (MSPs), inviting them to sign a pledge to stand by Right There’s mission: to keep families together and prevent homelessness, one person at a time.

The exhibition was spearheaded by Right There’s CEO, Janet Haugh, alongside key team members: John McBride, Head of Strategic Initiatives and Governance, who hosted on Tuesday 4th February; Ran Majumder, Edinburgh Locality Manager, who took over on Wednesday 5th February; and Renzo Cardosi, Director of Programmes, who rounded off the week on Thursday 6th February.

Throughout the event, the Right There team shared vital insights into the charity’s impactful work, highlighting the importance of community support in tackling homelessness and fostering long-term stability for families across Scotland. By securing pledges from MSPs, Right There is strengthening its efforts to raise awareness of the issues and advocate for policy changes that will protect vulnerable families from the trauma of homelessness.

This event marks an important step in Right There’s ongoing campaign to not only prevent homelessness but also ensure that every individual and family in Scotland has the support they need to thrive.
