Right There Celebrates Incredible Edrington Fundraising Total

Right There is thrilled to announce the incredible donation from the Edrington Glasgow Stride 2024; a remarkable fundraising event that has raised an impressive total of £83,767.

This generous contribution was raised by employees of Edrington, whose fundraising efforts are triple matched by their principal shareholder The Robertson Trust, Scotland’s largest grant-making charitable trust. The final total after this triple matching was then split between Right There and The Marie Trust, with each charity receiving £83,767.

The Edrington Stride, held on 22 August 2024, saw dedicated Edrington employees embark on a challenging 20 mile hike along the West Highland Way, with some Right There staff joining for the walk and as part of the cheering squad.

Right There’s CEO Janet Haugh said: “Edrington’s donation will significantly boost our efforts to support individuals and families facing homelessness and difficult times throughout Scotland. The latest homelessness figures released in September show that new homelessness application are up 4% this year; the funds raised will be instrumental in furthering our tailored support to those in need, through our wide range of services.”
