Vice Chairperson

Liz joined Right There in 2016
Liz Taylor is a globally experienced HR leader and is at her happiest when working with colleagues to deliver organisational effectiveness and strategic goals. Her initial introduction to Right There was for maternity cover, but the experience opened a new chapter in her life that she now cares a lot about.
My HR career began with work for FTSE 100 companies in the drinks industry, which lasted 20 years. Much of this time was spent setting up and developing businesses internationally, which required attention to a diverse range of cultural norms.
As a new challenge, I decided to develop my own business with two main streams: supporting start-ups and small to medium enterprises, and being a career consultant.
Right There was initially recommended to me by a close friend, and I joined the team temporarily in 2016 to cover maternity leave. This experience gave an insight into a whole new world and a deep respect for the support workers who do whatever they can to help those facing homelessness.
In March 2017, I joined the board and became Vice Chair in December 2019.
