Sales Administrator
We are recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join our Property Services team based at Charles Street, Glasgow.
The Sales Administrator role is essential to the smooth and efficient running of our new Furnish a Future programme. The post holder will be the first point of contact for donors wishing to donate furniture, helping with enquiries, arranging collection/delivery of donations and purchases and planning routes for drivers.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Interact with members of the public face to face, over the phone and online in a friendly and helpful manner
- Communicate the quality standards that donated items must meet
- Schedule the collection and delivery route for drivers daily
- Research and value/price donated furniture
- Create and manage detailed online listings to promote and sell donated items
- Photograph and upload items for online listing
- Price and label items for the retail shop
- Promote gift aid through all channels such as online, in the shop and over the phone
- Provide reception and front of house cover in the retail unit as required

We’re looking for an Administrator who has gained similar experience through working in a Sales Admin type role. You will have excellent IT skills, proficient in the use of MS Office and a keen eye for detail. A friendly, professional manner, excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload are also essential requirements.
What you can expect from us
We value our staff as our greatest asset and will provide the following working conditions:
- The post holder will report to the Property Administration Supervisor.
- Your normal working hours are 35 per week, worked Monday to Friday.
- Your usual place of work will be Rosemount Business Park, Charles Street, Glasgow, G21 2QA.
- Annual leave entitlement of 210 hours holiday (equivalent to 6 weeks) pro rata per year in the first year rising to 280 hours (equivalent to 8 weeks) pro rata per year in the second. This includes public holidays
- You will be automatically enrolled into the People’s Pension in the month that you will complete 3 months of employment, provided you meet the auto-enrolment criteria
