Jilly Isabella, creates a new collaboration with Right There.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Right There is delighted to welcome its first ambassador, Jilly Isabella, a fashion influencer from Glasgow and founder of clothing brand Dula, to help raise awareness of the charity’s mission in preventing homelessness.

To celebrate Right There held a special day for some of the young people it supports, with Jilly giving the group an exciting behind the scenes look at what it takes to run your own fashion label.

Jilly took the group through all the different stages of running a fashion business. The day started with the group getting creative and making mood boards to showcase their individual styles and personalities, followed by a photoshoot, content creation and packaging up orders.

The day also gave the young people and Jilly the chance to find out more about each other and for Jilly to hear about the charity’s work in supporting people going through tough moments in life.

Abbigail, who currently stays at Right There’s supported accommodation said: “It was a really fun day, I enjoyed doing the mood board activity and it was really nice to meet Jilly.”

Chanelle, who is being supported by Right There’s Glasgow Family Support and mentoring programmes, said “The day made me feel really good, thanks Jilly.”

Jilly has a passion for all fashion and has worked with some of the biggest brands such as Astrid & Miyu, Superdrug, Ugg, Panasonic and JD Sports.  She’s been developing her own fashion label, Dula, which ethos is normalising outfit repeating and has been showcased in the department store, Harvey Nichols.

Commenting on the collaboration, Jilly commented: “I’ve followed Right There’s work for a while now and I am delighted to be involved and support such an important charity.  I’ve had so much fun with the girls at today’s event and I am excited about supporting Right There more in the future!”

Jilly will support the charity in raising awareness of its work through her strong social media following to support its ambitions of growing its supporter base to help deliver its mission. In addition, Jilly is keen to work more with the people the charity to supports and to hear more about their experiences.
